Day 028 – The eye is the window to the soul… and the soul wants more food!
On starting this 365 my aim was to upload daily, although so I could guarantee a full days opportunity to take a photograph, I’d end up uploading the previous days picture. At one point I fell a further day behind and now I am struggling not only to catch up, but also remembering what I did two days ago!
Late nights and age both seem to contribute to the days feeling like they’re all merging into one lately. As it happens, this particular Friday happened to be the father-in-laws birthday, which served as a handy reminder to help jog the memory. We’d arranged to have lunch with them and it was a lovely way to spend the afternoon, the girls always enjoy seeing their grandparents, and after a delicious chip shop lunch (a rare treat!) we were set up for the day and didn’t need much to eat for the rest of the day. Well, most of us didn’t… it seems Chloe wasn’t included in this, the girl just wants to eat and eat and eat! I think Clare noted that twice today she was sat in her chair, for an hour each time, eating whatever was put in front of her. That must be some kinda growth spurt going on there! This shot was taken while she was sat down eating, using my favourite lens ever, the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8, it makes images so sharp you could cut yourself on them!
