“My family is my strength and my weakness.”
Today started with a visit this morning from the brother in law, forcing us to get up and showered. We have been a bit slow at getting up if Olivia is still sleeping, even though she has been kind to us and only wants feeding usually once or occasionally twice during the night! But we do know that this could all change and sleepless nights could soon take over, so we’re making the most of it! After the brother in law had gone it was bath time again for the baby. The first time was a bit of a scream fest, and although it wasn’t cold, this time I made sure the water was a bit warmer and the room was a bit warmer, and while i’m not sure this helped we certainly had a much quieter, happier bath session! A trip out food shopping was our only chance to get out of the house today, we don’t seem to be going far as our day is pretty much ruled by milk feeds at the moment, on top of which I was supposed to be sorting the new loft insulation, but like most days, just ran plain out of time! With the weather very suddenly feeling like autumn, the need for proper insulation just became a much higher profile, especially since the heating has started going on! I thought I had weeks left, but apparently not!
