“In art and dream may you proceed with abandon. In life may you proceed with balance and stealth.”
Our final full day in Paris and we decided to finish our trip off by starting today with a visit to the Louvre, it never ceases to amaze me just how vast it is. I had to pop in and see the Mona Lisa again, and fight my way to the front, taking no prisoners! Anyone would think they were giving away free money at the front, crazy! We Headed over to Montmartre afterwards to visit the Sacre Coeur, or La Basilique du Sacré Coeur de Montmartre to give it its full title, literally the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris. An amazing building that it seemed almost a crime to walk away from without having photographed the inside, but they literally have security jumping on anyone who dares picks up their camera! I managed to get some decent shots from the outside, but the weather was so miserable, and this places really shines in the sunlight! Afterwards my one final request was to get a photo of the Eiffel Tower as it lit up at night and twinkled on the hour! Such a beautiful sight, and the wife agreed it was an amazing way to finish our trip!
